all of her life. The majority of her life has been filled with her
three boys and now their families.
In the early 70’s, Kay discovered porcelain painting.
She has painted porcelain with Andreas Knoble in Germany, Linda Alexander,
Kay Houston, Beverly Tucker, Alzora, Peggy Harrup, and Jane Marcks.

teaches classes in portraits and roses.
In the 80’s she attended the Philadelphia
Academy of Fine Arts where she excelled in the sculpting classes.
She studied portraiture with Frank Covina and worked with Robert
Summers. She discovered William Bouguereau and believes he is the
best kept secret of the 20 th century. Kay is very creative and enjoys
reproducing old masters paintings such as Bouguereau.
Kay has traveled and studied art throughout Europe, Mexico
and the United States. Her works can be found in Texas, Oklahoma, New
Mexico, New York, and Germany. She paints portraits of people and animals
by commission.
Kay loves to reproduce
anything by the old masters providing it is under public domain.
Only some of Kay's artwork appears
on this site. If a commissioned
work/piece touches your heart/is of interest/appeals to you, please
remember that it is likely something similar can be created for you.
